Don't Pay for Games! Download These 8 Apps to Get Free Games on Your Phone

Dldownz | How many times have you been looking for an app to download games for free, and you see that the best way to download games for free or the best apps to download games for free don’t work? Well, thankfully there are apps that actually do work, so instead of paying $50 a month for one game, you can access thousands of games.

Best of all, these games are all free! These eight apps will let you download and play any game available on the app store without having to pay even a single cent.

1) Opera Max

If you're looking for free games, look no further than Opera Max, an app that compresses data from web pages and apps, including games. For a lot of mobile games, most of your data consumption comes from streaming and downloading sounds, images and video content.

Opera Max can help cut down that usage by up to 50%--saving you plenty of money in download fees (and possibly letting you avoid overage charges). There's also a basic VPN built in so you can add privacy as well. The app is easy enough to use; just open it whenever you want to play or stream something and let it do its magic.

2) Vysor

Vysor is an Android app that allows you to stream your screen from your phone, allowing you to see it on your computer. With Vysor installed, you can easily play any game or app right on your PC, meaning no additional download is required.

It’s a particularly great option if you want some extra screen real estate while playing a game. (Caveat: iPhone users can’t use Vysor.) A similar option is AirDroid , which also allows remote control of an Android device but doesn’t allow direct streaming as Vysor does. Chrome Remote Desktop : This one requires a bit more installation and setup—you have to install software and enable Chrome browser extensions—but it works seamlessly once you do.

3) Game Jolt

Game Jolt is an open platform for independent game developers. This means that you can find all kinds of high-quality games here, including old classics and brand new indie hits. The platform has no geographical restrictions, so if you live in a country where Google Play or Apple's App Store are not supported (like China), Game Jolt might be your best option. Some games that are playable here are unavailable elsewhere, such as Mega Man 2 NES and Thomas Was Alone.

4) Google Opinion Rewards

I love Opinion Rewards. This app gives you quick surveys every now and then, which offer Google Play credit when completed. I find that I can usually get somewhere between $1-5 per survey, and it doesn’t take too long either.

If you need money in a hurry and aren’t very picky about what apps you use, then I would highly recommend trying out Google Opinion Rewards. It also works with Amazon gift cards if you have an Amazon account so that is an added bonus as well.

5) Slidejoy

This app makes money by using a widget that slides out when you unlock your phone. The widget displays ads that you can interact with in order to make money. You can redeem those earnings via PayPal or cash out via gift cards, including Amazon and Walmart.

There is also a browser version of Slidejoy that you can use from any device if you don’t want to download an app. It works similarly, but instead of sliding out from your phone’s lock screen, it appears as a pop-up ad once you've opened a new tab in your browser. If you choose not to interact with it, then it goes away after 30 seconds.

6) Hotukdeals

Finding mobile games can be a costly affair, with a large number of games costing over $2. If you're looking for something fun and addictive to play, but don't want to splurge on an in-app purchase or download, check out these free apps that offer free games.

You'll find everything from action and racing titles, classic arcade style games, puzzle games and brain teasers all available at no cost. So save your money (and take advantage of some exciting promotions) and start downloading these great apps right now

7) Amazon Underground

If you’re looking for free games, one of your best options is App Trailers. This site houses trailers for various games, and also offers links to download many of them. Just because a game is listed as free doesn’t mean it’s actually free; often you have to pay for items within a game in order to fully access it.

Don’t be surprised if that happens; just go into any app knowing how much you might spend. Often, though, there are enough free apps that you can play indefinitely without spending money at all! The App Trailers site breaks things down by category—it's an easy way to browse while on your phone or tablet (which makes sense given their business model).

8) App Trailers

When you’re really into games, App Trailers is one of our favorite apps to download games for free. Simply type in any game and watch a trailer before downloading it. Once you’ve watched a trailer, you can rate it up or down—most are five-star trailers with over 1 million views, so they should give you a good idea of whether or not it's worth spending your data plan's MBs.

You can even recommend trailers to help out fellow gamers (not that we need another excuse to play Diablo III).
